Properties Of Plastic Tanks

Plastic cans have not been around for a long time, but they have developed very rapidly and have replaced metal cans and glass bottles in many occasions, mainly because of its many advantages:

①Light weight. The material density of plastic cans is relatively small. Compared with the same volume of container quality, plastic cans are smaller than metal tin cans and glass bottles.

②Lower cost. The material cost of plastic cans is lower and the manufacture is easier, so the overall price is lower.

③ It can reliably protect the product. The tank body is made of a variety of materials and has good chemical stability and barrier properties; the combination of the bottom, the cover and the tank body adopts a reliable sealing structure, so the contents can be reliably protected.

④ Good mechanical strength. Although the mechanical properties of plastic cans are slightly lower than those of metal cans and glass bottles, they are sufficient for packaging general products, and the problem of strength damage rarely occurs.

⑤The shelf effect is good. The surface of plastic cans is easy to print and easy to decorate, which is good for attracting customers and promoting sales.

Plastic cans also have some shortcomings: for example, the sealing quality of the bottom cover and the can body is not stable; when vacuum packaging and pressure packaging are performed, the strength of the can body is sometimes not high enough.

As a new type of packaging container, plastic cans are widely used in the packaging field. It can package juice, milk powder, carbonated beverages, coffee, cosmetics, oils, etc.
