Points to note in spray gun operation

1. The moving speed of the spray gun.

During the spraying operation, the moving speed of the spray gun has a great influence on the coating effect.

1. If the manual spray gun moves too fast, the surface coating of the object to be coated will be thin, which will appear dry, poor leveling and rough;

2. If the moving speed of the manual spray gun is slow, the coating film on the surface of the object to be coated must be very late, and it is easy to cause sagging.

3. The most ideal moving speed of the spray gun is that after the spraying is finished, the surface coating of the object to be coated is full, uniform and wet. This requires operators with certain spraying experience to control.

Second, the control of the trigger.

The gun is controlled by the trigger. The deeper the trigger is pulled, the greater the fluid flow rate. In the process of traditional gun shooting of electrostatic spraying equipment, the trigger is always locked, not half-locked. In order to avoid the buildup of paint sprayed at the end of each shot, experienced painters should loosen the trigger slightly to reduce the amount of paint supplied.

3. The orientation of the spray gun to the surface of the substrate.

The gun should be vertical to the substrate surface, or as vertical as possible. If the spray gun is a little skewed, the result must be that the spray strip will flow on one side, while the other side will appear dry and lack of paint, which is very likely to cause a streaky coating.
