 It's fine if you temporarily put it in a plastic bottle - like when you're traveling - but it's not good long term. Perfumes go bad quicker in plastic bottles than in glass bottles.

Keep your perfume in its original bottle if it's attractive. Storing your perfume on a shelf or container in its original container on a mirror or silver tray is a great way to show it off. If the original bottle isn't pretty, don't transfer it to another container, as this will expose it to air and cause it to lose some of its smell.
